Christmas is over and all the big fun can be exhausting. I went out in the rain on Christmas day and took the lights off the roof. That might seem a little odd, however, the severe thunderstorms that rolled through here on Christmas Eve took half the lights down for me. I just finished the job.

PayPerPost wanted to know what I love about PayPerPost - it’s a great way to meet other people online that are blogging like me. Plus it’s an easy way to learn about new products and websites and get paid to talk about them. The other reason I love PayPerPost is that they just paid my wife $1000 for winning a contest. Where else can you fart around online blogging and having fun and get paid for it? I don’t know what we’re going to use that money for yet, but right now it’s sitting in PayPal and it’s a little savings account. We’re going on vacation next week and it’s nice to know we’ve got the extra money sitting there if we need it. If you’d like to make a few extra bucks a month, try blog marketing. Just click on the PayPerPost logo over there in my sidebar and give it a try. Thanks PayPerPost, for paying me to talk about something I love!

Tough night for the Lightning. They lost a close one to the Atlanta Thrashers, snapping a three game winning streak. The Lightning lost 2-1 with the Thrashers scoring a controversial game winner with 8 seconds left in the game. I’m going to the Lightning game Thursday night against the Flyers, I’m hoping they keep their streak against the Flyers alive. They haven’t lost to the Flyers in regulation in over two seasons.

Wife and I booked a hotel room for our trip to NC next week. Last time, we drove at night, and straight through, but this time, we decided to stop for the night. It will be an easier trip with the kids, and wife didn’t want to drive at night, so we search for travelocity deals online and found a nice hotel room at a good price. Colleen is training me to always check for online coupons and promotion codes before I buy anything online, and she’s right, we usually save money. I can’t wait to get on the road next week to start this trip.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are getting on a little roll, just in time for Christmas! No better present than that for a bolts fan. Saturday night, the Bolts rallied from a 3-0 deficit in the third period to beat the New York Rangers 4-3 in regulation. Defenseman Dan Boyle scored a hat trick in the third period, the first hat trick of his career, and Vincent Lecavalier scored the tying goal for his 21st goal of the year. Go Vinny!

Here’s a universal truth, women like flowers. Women especially like them delivered to their work place. That’s the beauty of the internet, you can sit at your desk, go online to a florist like dot flowers and order flowers for your girlfriend or wife. Have them delivered to her work and you look like a hero! Plus, you didn’t have to deal with crowds. One time I sent flowers to my wife at her office and all the other ladies in the office were ohhing and awing. Needless to say, my wife was impressed. Go ahead and send some flowers - you’ll come off looking like a champ.

I have tickets for the Lightning v. Rangers tonight at the Ice Palace. Unfortunately, I have to work tonight, so in the spirit of the season, I gave my tickets to a neighbor…Who is a Ranger fan no less! His son and my son play together all the time and they just moved here from New York. He has a picture of his newborn son wearing a Rangers jersey and autographed by Jaromir Jagr. Pretty cool. Hate the fact someone will be there cheering for the wrong team!

I’m not the only one with a blog. PayPerPost has a blog too, and it’s the best place to get updates and see all of the new contests and postie patrols and videos. Wife was telling me about the new postie patrol video from Chicago that is up there now. I’m glad it wasn’t that cold when my friend and I were there last weekend. I’d love for PayPerPost to come to our house - my wife would go absolutely nuts to meet Ted. Can I put in a request for Britt to join him? This is a sponsored post, thanks to PayPerPost.

It’s almost here, Christmas! All of the presents are not wrapped with care yet. I’ve got some work left to do…Wonder if the Wife would mind if I just handed her a shopping bag? Today and tomorrow will be absolutely nuts at work. There’s nothing like the holidays to bring out the worst in people.

The wife showed me the PayPerPost channel on YouTube this morning. I enjoy checking out videos on YouTube, but they’re usually sports videos and clips from The Family Guy. My favorite video by far was of Britt:
It was cool to see people who actually work with PayPerPost and put names with faces. My wife has been talking about these people for months. And especially now that they’re paying me, I want to know who they all are. I can see why Ted sends Britt to all of the trade shows - she’s smart and easy on the eyes. I’m off to check out the rest of the crew now. Thanks payperpost for sponsoring this video and giving us some Saturday morning entertainment. (And again, thanks for the $1000 you gave my wife yesterday!)
