My wife has watched soaps on and off in her life, and she thought, that as a guy, I was clueless about them. Not so! She was talking with a friend about what happened on a soap and I interjected asking her about other characters and story lines. I’m smarter than she thinks. See, I grew up with a sister that watched soaps, and my girlfriend watched soaps when I was in high school, so I just listened and learned. It’s always good to have knowledge on something that people don’t expect you to know about.

I found a website full of soap opera updates so that I can continue my quest for knowledge. They’ve got daily updates and news on all of the daytime shows, as well as a few evening shows. (Hey guys, add a section for Heroes, Desperate Housewives, and Grey’s Anatomy - those definitely count as soaps!) They have news and message boards too. If they expand their list of shows, the site would be perfect.
